These Terms and Conditions govern your use of www.achillesfootclinic.com (the “Website”), operated by Achilles Foot Clinic (“we”, “us”, “our”). By using the Website, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Website.
1. Medical disclaimer
The content on this Website, including articles, blog posts and videos, is for general information only. It is not medical advice and does not replace an examination by a podiatrist or other qualified health professional. Do not delay seeking care, or ignore professional advice, because of something you read here.
Using this Website, sending us a message or submitting a form does not create a podiatrist-patient relationship. That relationship begins only when you are seen at our clinic.
In a medical emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department. Do not use the Website or email for urgent matters.
2. Appointment requests
An online appointment request is not a confirmed appointment. Your appointment is booked only once our staff confirm it with you by phone or email. Preferred dates, times and podiatrists are subject to availability.
3. Cancellations and missed appointments
If you cannot attend or will be late, please call (403) 777-0085 as soon as possible. Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice, or missed without notice, may be charged a fee.
4. Insurance and payment
We accept most insurance and benefit plans. Coverage depends on your plan. You are responsible for any charges your insurer does not cover. Questions about your coverage should go to your insurer or employer. For billing questions, call our office.
5. Parking
All patient vehicles must be registered on arrival at Mayfair Place. Please have your licence plate number ready at check-in.
6. Accuracy of information
We work to keep the Website accurate and current. Hours, services, staff and other details may change without notice. Please call to confirm before your visit. We do not warrant that the Website is complete, error-free or always available.
7. Intellectual property
All Website content, including text, images, logos, graphics and videos, is owned by or licensed to Achilles Foot Clinic and protected by Canadian and international copyright and trademark laws.
